Grew up in one of the biggest cities in America. Moved to Scotland and to what felt like a small town in Scotland. Moved again to a small village. And now to an even smaller village on an island off the west coast of Scotland.

Every move has been good. This last one has been the very best of all. It feels impossible to select even a few images from the last few months: there is beauty every day, in every place.

Opening the windows in the morning… taking a daily walk… driving from one town to another….climbing waterfalls… bonfire night …the traffic of sheep and cows…the Christmas light switch on….frost and sunshine, wind and rain.
